Collocated with RE 2015
Traditional requirements engineering (RE) techniques have difficulties scaling up to settings in which thousands or even millions of stakeholders form a large, anonymous, and heterogeneous group, denoted a "crowd". Researchers have identified several issues with applying RE in such crowd settings.
The workshop on Crowd-Based Requirements Engineering (CrowdRE) aims to play a pivotal role in bringing research experts and practitioners together and providing them with a platform to exchange their visions on this subject. A central topic is how requirements are best elicited, documented, validated, negotiated, and managed in settings that involve a crowd.
